The color scheme and the rest of the kit appears similar enough that you could say it’s “inspired” by that car, if you prefer to nitpick.

the RX-7 is in Tokyo Drift, obviously, and Letty drives a Runner in Furious 4, before (falsely) being murdered and getting retconned in Furious 6
