Yeah. IDW ended up making the banishment of the Sirens wrong. Rainbow Rocks, Legends of Magic Issue #12, and zshadow Play - Part 2 shows Starswirl banishing them to the human world by created a portal in the sky. While FIENDship Is Magic Issue #3 shows Starswirl banishing them to the human world by a Crystal Mirror. Who cares? They’re too big to fit through the Crystal Mirror.

You mean that FIENDship is Magic Issue #3 is not canon and Legends of Magic Issues #7-12 replaced it with a proper origins of the Sirens/Dazzlings?
