Honestly a lot of conversations with this guy just feel like this
I think the new design while being a little too Lisa Frank is cute, I like Starlight in Mirror Magic I just wish she hadn’t done the ‘saves the day’ thing again but she’s alright and I love Tempests design.
Maybe don’t assume things about the entire fandom based on a melodramatic/obnoxious few?

I like the new changelings and I hope to see them again with a big role later in the season (which I’m mostly enjoying so far) or series, I haven’t seen Mirror Magic, and I’m neutral with Tempest Shadow mostly because I’ll reserve my judgment of her when I see more of her.
Or as BP#0A27 said, maybe you can’t find a “single person” that fits your criteria because the moment they present themselves you turn the other way?
I love the
reformedmatured changeling designs, haven’t seen “Mirror Magic”, and like Tempest Shadow’s design.And the last time you said no one liked the new changelings, I was one of several people who spoke up in favor of them. So, yeah, as long as you ignore contrary opinions, you can say your opinions are unanimously held. It’s the popular thing to do nowadays, after all.
More of this “different people in the fandom have different opinions” stuff.
If that’s the case, how come I can’t find a single person who likes the reformed changeling designs? Or Starlight in Mirror Magic? Or Tempest’s design in the MLP movie?
Because – and you might want to sit down for this, as it apparently will come as a shock – different people, bringing different preferences and different life experiences to the same piece of entertainment, can have legitimate, sincere, yet different opinions on that piece of entertainment.
There are other factors at play, some of which would send this thread spiraling off into a full-fledged flame war, but that’s the biggie.
Stop listening to those people. Worry about what you think, not what others do. Even if they’re the majority opinion.
Then how in every Starlight thread, the haters call people who say anything positive about Starlight an ass-kisser?
I genuinely like the current season. Does that make me an ass-kissing hasdrone? I’d like to think not. There’s nothing wrong with liking the new seasons.

The fandom negativity is constant these days, and it’s getting tiresome. The fandom is worse than the show has ever been. The worst part? It’s a handful of people who act like they speak for everyone.
Though that description is eerily close to how I feel about the fandom a depressing amount of time.
