Between this and EQG, Hasbro is cementing the canon that humans and ponies can journey to each other’s worlds. The catch is, going to Equestria turns a human into a pony, and going to Earth turns a pony into a human. This nicely skirts the whole “humans interacting with ponies” issue that they’ve apparently tried to avoid since Gen 1.
Yep, they own that too, but it was rebooted, but only on an on-demand streaming service owned by Hallmark, called “Feeln”.
They also own franchises like Rainbow Brite, (surprised they haven’t rebooted that yet) and such don’t they?
According to Wiki they’re still one of the largest greeting card manufacturers in the USA.

“Nightmare Moon, tear down this wall!”
Even with closing shops they are no where near going out of business.
They are one of the largest manufacturer of greeting cards, so any time you see a greeting card stand in a store a lot of them are from them, they also own Crayola.
A LOT of them. To me, that’s a sign that the company is shrinking.
Why would you think that?
From them closing Hallmark stores?
