“What? It’s just alfalfa. It’s good for you.”
 
“It’s…WEEDS. You’re eating WEEDS, Fluttershy! RIGHT OUT OF THE GROUND!”
 
“Aren’t you overreacting a little, Rarity? I mean, there was a time when ponies couldn’t fly, or cast magical spells or even pick things up by hoof, long ago. What do you think ponies DID back then?”
 
“But we don’t have to do those things NOW and we haven’t for thousands of years! And it’s GROSS! Animals have been doing their business on the ground around here, Fluttershy! ANIMALS!”
 
“But not here, I asked them. It’s perfectly nice alfalfa. It’s good for you, just try it!”
 
“It’s not even washed!”
 
“You don’t eat the dirt, silly. You just nip the tender tops. There’s a little dust here and there, but all it does is provide some good minerals. The bugs know to get out of the way.”
 
“There’s BUGS too? EWWW!”
 
“They’ll move. They really don’t mind. See, it’s crunchy and sweet. Trust me, try some!”

[MUNCHING HORSE NOISES}
 
“See?”
 
“It…it’s not bad. Honestly. But it could really use some salad dressing. Maybe a nice raspberry vinaigrette.”
 
“We’ll bring some next time. And some croutons, too. There’s some basil growing wild over there, and mint. Let’s try them together.”
