Eh, usually by the time someone’s eliminated, there’s a clear leader.
On a higher ‘level of play’, maybe that wouldn’t happen, but for us there’s usually not more than a half hour between someone going ‘whelp, I’m out’ and whoever took most of their terrain going ‘whelp, I’ve taken over the world’.
Half an hour? What house rules do you use to make a game of Risk go that fast?
Ticket to Ride is pretty popular around here, in Scandinavia, the last few years.
In some ways it’s replaced Risk as a moderately strategic, family board game.
And as a bonus, there’s no player elimination (so no one gets defeated early, then sits around doing nothing for half an hour while the others finish the game)
One look at Celestia’s face tells me she’ll be the first to kamikaze
I don’t know but I wish Cadence eats something every time they play together, she’s just too cute having popcorn xD

It’s Ticket to Ride. I used a board made with the Equestria map. It was the Patron’s choice. I’ve never heard of it either before this.
