I like the new look they gave Pharynx, looks a lot cooler the the other reformed changelings

The changedling design looks better in Pharynx’s color scheme.

Or the ruler have high influence on the default form. Those were “Chrysalis forms”, maybe “Thorax forms” have their own lifecycle.

In regards to Chrysalis specifically, yeah, I think that’s pretty likely. Either that or she had such poor knowledge of her own kind’s biology that she outright didn’t know metamorphosis was possible. Either way, hardly a good leader.
 
I suppose there’s the “it’s my duty to find food for my subjects” line, but if you’re already knowingly harming your subjects for your own benefit, one more lie is hardly going to hurt you. Especially when said subjects are listening.

Drawing it. It’s not hard. But it hard to make our heart want to draw it…Can’t handle their color theme yet. It’s not synchronize well with my artist sense.

I also agree with this.

I was happy with how this was handled.  
Pharaynx’s change was completely natural, it obviously happened automatically.  
How? Because he was so moved by the acceptance of his pack for who he was.
 
Whether people like the changedling design or not, it’s clearly a natural process for them to evolve this way.  
I dare say, Queen Chrysalis has kept this evolution repressed intentionally, so that she could command an army of emotion-vampire shape-shifters. Yes, I’m insinuating that Chrysalis twisted the natural order of her own kind, for her own ends.

I guess this is why he looked surprisingly beautiful ( _{no homo} ) when he transformed.

New theory, changedling form relates to the role that being would be best suited for. Thorax became King because, despite his weakness in some areas, his desire to do the best for his people and willingness to think outside the box.  
Pharynx has a Praetorian form, focused on directly defending both his ruler and people.

I like the story of this episode and I like any previous episode that involve with Changedling so far. I don’t mind their reform and change the way of life at all. Thought, this new Changeling design still give this artist a hard time…It’s too hard to draw…It’s just don’t feel right….>^<

I’m probably gonna get flak for this, but I literally groaned at the transformation scene.

Like his color scheme better than the bright green most of the others have.

Before reform: he looks like a badged and black alicorn OC in a sea of good normal OCs  
After reform: he still looks like a bad OC

I had a feeling something like this would happen when I started watching the episode, and it feels like Pharynx was tricked into it. At least his new form looks pretty decent and I hope he remains an agressive jerk.
