I really loved this episode. I feel like My Little Pony kind has their finger on the pulse when it comes to social commentary. Men feel like there’s less and less of a place for them in the West’s increasingly feminine culture, and the soldiers that defend Western civilization feel less and less appreciated. This episode addressed both issues (which are pretty inexorably linked anyway) almost perfectly.  
I think I would have preferred if Pharynx accepted everyone’s love but didn’t transform for some strange reason, but everyone still accepted him anyway.

… when you put it that way, combined with the hippie vibe coming off of the Feelings Forum, it feels kinda like a big Vietnam War reference.
