Would be a funny coincidence as the name isn’t quite common. It apparently has a Wiki page (Not in english) though.
Or maybe they’re going the TMNT route, and bringing back, and rebooting some characters “in name only.” (Though, some like Mutagen Man are ironically closer to their original action figure orgin, then in the old classic campy cartoon.)

Dare I ask, how does this ruin the character?
Other decade-spanning series reuse names on new characters, or redesign old ones too.
I guess ‘cause it sounds Egyptian kinda, or they couldn’t find any good Egyptian sounding names from G1.
I’m a sucker for nods to previous canons when it comes to these legacy decade spanning series.
