Hmm…the one in Party of One is awfully human-like, though. The pair in Sisterhooves Social may be the first time we see socks in G4, admittedly just on a clothesline.

In Party Of One, there was a sock in Rarity’s overflowing trash can that she had Spike take out. In Sisterhooves Social, there were a pair of socks hanging from the clothesline after Sweetie Belle did the laundry. And in Pinkie Pride, Cheese Sandwich wore socks in his close up of his hooves on his way to the Goof Off.
 
Oh, also, in Too Many Pinkie Pies, Rarity was wearing a pair of evening gloves with her fabulous dress. However, since the gloves had no fingers, they were basically socks.

Where were socks in any of those eps? I tried looking for them but didn’t find anything. Granted, i didn’t look too hard

This made me so ridiculously happy!

Socks have been canon since Party Of One, and have been in Sisterhooves Social and Pinkie Pride. Though Pinkie Pride was the first episode where socks were worn and they were worn by Cheese Sandwich.
