She’s first as in most active in calling out people on tracing, not the first in its literal sense.
She isnt the first person in complaining about the tracing XD
When drawponied was caugh tracing a lot of people complained, which led to him to admit he did trace after he denied it so much
ToxicMario was caugh tracing two of his anthros (and possibly many more), a lot of people complained but because he acted really inmaturely and childish to anyone (basically a manchild), the thing got worse to the point he is now a walking meme in the fandom (funny thing is, he acts as a victim even though he started this whole mess)
Saturnstar14, she was caugh tracing but she inmediatly admited it, the puppets where really modified and she asked for permission, that is why her tracing scandal died so fast
Next time read the description and inform yourself so you can talk with good knowledge about what is really going on, or you can talk it in the forums because i dont think comments here are meant to start drama but rather to critique pics and give opinions on them :)
She wrote a journal that she traces puppets so the result is not quite original in its actual sense. It’s like using prosthetics if you could use prosthetics in art?
Houses in the backgrounds look 100% traced as well. This comic might be not 100% traced but a big part of it is traced. I only care about it because she’s the first person in the fandom to call people out on tracing which makes it super ironic.

oh yeah, i have a really bad eye for detail. no wonder why it looked too accurate. Also, as much as you’re right, she’s more honest than someone is.
oh no, I traced an iconic pose because I didn’t want to bother with redrawing it, how evil of me. it’s not like my work should be judged on the merit of what I did add to it.
no, the only praise she gets is people insisting that it’s not traced, which makes it somehow better.
how about instead of telling us all about how it totes doesn’t count as tracing, you say something constructive, like their eye shines were well done, or you liked their expressions, or it’s a really good story.
Again, did you read her description? She credits the Trixie assets there. She credited everything she just plainly copy/pasted. Oh and, she didn’t make people think it’s alright that she traces, she’s no manipulator or sth. She said what she does with the puppets and nobody batted an eye about it.
It’s the same as using a wooden mannequin for poses. She traced the base pose (standing still) and then she puzzled it together to the pose she wanted. How is that tracing?
Lol. I found the exact pose after quick google search with Trixie MLP. You might love SaturnStar14 but don’t make it blind you to things.
it’s supposed to be exactly like the screenshot. if it was original, nobody would understand why trixie’s rearing up like that.
Well, she actually wrote a DA journal where she admits to tracing but she tries to make people think it’s all right.
