“We’re not in Tartarus, Spike! We’re in the detoxifier. The machine didn’t blow up; it worked normally. It removed our toxins! We’re the toxins! Are you listening, you bulbous little bastard?! WE’RE WHAT GOT REMOVED!!!”
“While you were flapping your parasitic turd holster, I discovered the toxic equivalent of magic, Spike. What do you think of that? Do you think if God existed he could do it? The answer is no. If God exists, it’s bleep me!”
“Don’t negotiate with that little turd, dummy. You’re the Princess of Friendship! You need to show dominance. Spike, booth, now. Booth!”
”Y-You’re gonna be fine, Spike. Mom’s here.“
Pretty much, yeah XD
I figured Healthy and Toxic Fluttershy would be somewhat like Healthy and Toxic Morty since Fluttershy when vulnerable would greatly say stuff like “I know! I am worthless!” Toxic Twilight would be always dedicated to her OCD about making sure things are perfect or being on time for something. So she when is created, she is yelling at the Toxic Mane Five to help her create a way out of Discord’s toxic realm so she can get back to work.
I guess it depends what they consider “toxic” about themselves. Like, I could see Toxic Fluttershy being monstrously timid while Healthy Fluttershy became an antagonistic bitch, since she seems to be ashamed of how bashful she is :P
Yeah they are, but I don’t know how the Toxic Mane Six would be that different compared to the Mane Six when Discorded or the Mean Six. Still, I can see the Toxic Mane Six as a result from Discord trying to actually not cause chaos for once but out of something he never expected would happen. The Mane Six wouldn’t notice but Spike, Starlight and the others would.
Also this reply was originally longer but the fucking CAPTCHA stuff deleted it even when I hit the post button.
Edited
They are weirdly similar in a few ways, aren’t they? XD
@redweasel
Failing that, I’d totally settle for a villain like Garmadon from the LEGO Ninjago Movie XD
oh man, I need to get back to this story I’m writing there’s so f-ing much left to go ffff
Good ideas!
Toxic Twilight: Okay! You’ve made your point! (Goes to Toxic Spike) Spike! Not that I give a shit, but are you okay?
Twilight: Sorry, Applejack.
Toxic Twilight: Fuck you, Applejack!
If absolutely nothing else, for as abusive, insane, and dickish as Rick is, he genuinely does care about Morty :P
@Stotter
Things like morality really fascinate me in fiction. Honestly too, I gotta give like major props to this show for having such amazingly flawed main characters. Seriously, like Twilight Sparkle could easily be a villain without changing a single part of her personality, and for how so many of the villains are pretty sympathetic characters :D
Now, what I want more than anything else, is a totally sympathetic bad guy who isn’t worthy of redemption. Someone who’s an absolute tragedy because they were more or less forced down the road to villainy, but has become so devoted to it now that they won’t even consider changing :D
Yes, I see your point. Good and bad being simplistic constructs when better descriptors of those qualities are positive and negative. Subtle distinction but important to the message. Oddly, the best exploration and summary that comes to mind are deleted scenes from Bruce Almighty, themselves best summed up with the metaphor in the quote “If you want to paint pictures like these, you have to use some dark colors.”
@Badumsquish
yeah, I’m… gonna continue not watching that show…
That’s what I’d do, honestly, if I could write an actual episode. I’d have one that showed that “good” and “bad” qualities aren’t so black and white, and have some good qualities (loyalty, honesty, determination) all cause problems while some bad ones (selfishness, spite, mistrust) helped out :P
Nope, the lesson is that none of them are special or important, that’s always the lesson.
You’re fine, man.
I told him he was “free to”. Plus I amended the profanity now, so I hope it makes it okay.
Can you try to avoid telling people to fuck off?
