Hey man, you’re trying. That’s something some people can’t seem to do. You’re striving to make something better. Others would just post the first version of this and leave it without a second thought. You’re taking in the feedback given, and applying changes to improve it.
I won’t stop until the animation breaks at least even or can do better than “Just bad”
You can stop me from getting upvotes, but you cannot stop me from improving, and if you want to stop seeing this over and over, then you better hope I improve quickly. Be a part of the solution, not the problem!
It’s not necessarily the speed of the animation that’s raking in the downvotes, more so it’s the sudden jolt back to their original positions. The jolt doesn’t make the animation look like a smooth loop at all. I’d say that just slowing down the part of the animation where they’re meant to look like they’re giving up, then that’d make the animation a whole lot smoother.
Take a look at the character to the left. When she springs back down, it is far too sudden to be ‘natural’. It doesn’t look smooth, and doesn’t lend itself to the animation’s quality.
The character in the middle, I’d say, is the best animated out of the three, though her right arm (left side of the animation) might be a bit too quick.
The character on the right just doesn’t look right at all. With how the ‘mud’ doesn’t deform when she’s moving, it looks as though her breasts are growing and shrinking whenever she moves. She too springs back into her fist position far too quickly to be ‘natural’.
Beyond that, it’s good to know that you’re putting in effort to improve on this piece.
I like how you are advising my work, you really get the effort I am trying to put into this, I had to redo this over 7 times now, so trust me when I say I am glad positive constructive criticism exists like yours. I know it will never be perfect, but I am glad there’s people that can help me figure this out.

The road may be bumpy, but you’ll get there.

This is a work in progress, and besides I love CleverDerpy’s work.
And squishy things like mud.
