Dash wasn’t just randomly being a jerk. She was trying to spare Pinkie’s feelings because she thought that being honest would hurt her. I don’t see how that makes her OOC. The whole not liking to wash was a joke, and not liking pies isn’t a crime. I don’t really enjoy pie that much.

RD seemed to regress in character? More like RD was out of character because the writer did a poor job with characterisation. That being said, the writer did at least remember her fast reactions, so that’s the only real positive of that episode. And at least she wasn’t an obsessive little bitch who didn’t understand privacy and shouldn’t have cared whether or not someone actually eats their pies or not, unlike Pinkie Pie in this episode. In all honesty, I had never wanted to slice open PP’s throat and gut her until the end of this episode. But you’re right, this was the worst episode (2/10) of season 7, imo.

Rainbow Dash was fine. Pinkie was the problem in this episode.

Not gonna lie, this is probably the worst episode of season 7 as a whole. The plot wasn’t interesting, nothing new was learned, nopony new was introduced, there was only one good joke in the entire episode, and Rainbow Dash actually seemed to regress in development. I mean, really? She’s still at that stage where she doesn’t like to bathe and she’s a picky eater? I’d expect this kind of episode from Caillou, not MLP.
