“Full-stop” canon would mean complete intermingling, which won’t be allowed no matter what he says. Viewer accessibility is more important. I would expect subtle things like Sirens in the future, but not plot lines and main characters appearing out of thin air.
No amount of “time coefficient” would explain character ages. CMC are in high school, Principal Celestia isn’t >1000 years old, Cheerilee is a teacher while Rarity is a high school student, while their pony counterparts were classmates. You just have to accept that human birthdays aren’t synchronized with pony birthdays at all, they’re kinda independent of each other.
@MrSeyker
7 seasons = 3 years.

We know less than a year has passed for Sunset since the start of the franchise. And I’m pretty sure a longer timeframe has been covered in Equestria since then.
It’s a popular theory to explain character ages and how “30 moons” (before we realized how nebulous a length of a “moon” was) in Equestria translated to apparently 4 or so years for Sunset in the human world.
AFAIK there’s nothing concrete about how time flows between the two worlds though.
I believe you’re referring to the Fiendship issue that featured the Dazzlings, however that issue has been rendered non-canon by this point.
I can’t remember where I got it. I just recall reading somewhere that the Dazzlings had been in the Human World only a few months before the events of “Rainbow Rocks”, even though in Equestria it had been over a millenium since they were banished.
>time works differently in the Human World
Source?
Not to mention that time works differently in the Human World.
“Those things are still alive?”
Sorry, couldn’t help myself there.
I wonder what Star Swirl and the rest of the pillars would have made of Twilight and the rest of the Humane Seven defeating the Sirens in the Human World.

Uh the human world obviously because idw and the actual show are seperate.
I also dislike the EQG series, but I already noticed a long time ago that show never actively contradicted EQG, while it contracts IDW comics all the time.
Being teens is probably not an issue they concern themselves about. They can exploit that if anything.
The real issue is that their magic is so limited they were practically starving for thousands of years.
Well idw is its own universe.
>EqG is canon.
>IDW is, in fact, non-canon except when stated otherwise.
Yeah, I think we’re happy. Also, I know the Legends of Magic comic series is fully canon as well as Issues 51 onwards, but everything before remains doubtfully canon or fully retconned (FIENDship is Magic #3 fully retconned by this episode.)
@SentryBronyPlatinum
I support this.
But Still. CONNECTIONS!!!!!!!
That is the biggest case of Eqg butthurt I’ve ever seen in my life
don’t bother, some people cant just except it
