Playing Dragon Pit (Fireball Island) these days would cost at least 350.00 even in acceptable condition. How would you guys love to play it for only 60.00$

The original came off more as a mansion featured in a Noir mystery and intrigue story.

It’s a pain to find nowadays. You usually will only come across the newer version which is super cartoony and has really crummy traps.

Careful, Fireball Island has the problem of looking good but not playing good. Once you get the gem it becomes just a big game of ring around the rosy where everyone is passing just to steal the jewel or worse intentionally stop near the bridges to just pass you on the next turn and once again steal the jewel.
 
Hit more Europe games that have been coming out. Not only do they look great, they also play wonderfully and leave smiles on every players’ face.
 
That being said, Fireball Island is a great piece to a collection, just be warned it’s dated rules tend to put it in a standstill kinda like Key to the Kingdom.

I had it too. Or at least I had the board. By the time I was old enough for it, a lot of the little pieces were missing. It looked cool, but I never had the chance to play it properly.
 
The good news is, some company called Restoration Games is working to bring Fireball Island into the 21st century.

Yeah, I had this game as a kid.  
Shame I didn’t understand preserving things. A complete original runs $400+ on ebay.

You know what I think I remember that game, gosh the 80’s and early 90’s were great for games that involve marbles…
