@Meanlucario
indeed, there was a lengthy discussion on the comments on another image where it was decided that imago only gets tagged on images with some actual indication that the character is a changeling, not every single image of bubble lee.
@KillerSteel
Yes it is, but it doesn’t excuse every Lee tag linked with the Imago tag, even when these is no reason say this isn’t a Lee that lived and grew up.
Still, kind of a shocker. I’d say that’s a pretty brave turn of events for Fish to take, killing off Bubble and having her be replaced by Imago.
…Suddenly the incredible figure makes a very scary amount of sense. An almost idealistic version of what Imago likely believed Bubble would look like when she grew up, or… trying to honor her fallen friend, perhaps?
@Jerkface
A bit, but not too far, and the fact that Imago actually felt guilt about it and broke down when it finally hit her that her friend would never return helps it and her.
@Jerkface
Lee died as a kid due to Imago, and she took her place, guilty of what she did. Still say that solo pics of Lee shouldn’t have the Imago tag, but that’s a debate for another time.
Alright, so I know I’m asking for a TL;DR of what’s likely a huge backstory, but why are a good chunk of images with Bubble also tagged with “Imago”?
All I know is Imago’s a changeling, so is that supposed to imply all these images of Bubble aren’t actually her?
Really? That’s great to hear.

Something this big had to’ve been planned in advance. Still, kudos to ‘em, it’s a good twist.
From what I’ve gathered, Fish and the other people working on this (I forget their names at the moment) planned this a long time ago.

Shit, this is kind of intense.

Imago’s and Bubble Lee’s Backstory
Short version of the story is also in source
Fairly dark for such a cute character.
