Honestly I’m just happy they gave her actual boots instead of those awful monstrosities from all the movies. I still don’t understand why she’s wearing a skirt though.

Because Applejack wears the BEST skirts. I still say this was one of DHX’s best design choices when they developed Equestria Girls.
