It’s a bit late for this but after this arc was over, I read all the Aero Replies entries here and Dinky does tell Aero to call her “brother” and ever since then he does.

Reminds me of the time I was having a talk about someone regarding shared fetishes between us, and the phrase “Liking tomboys is a pain in a time where everything is a trap”.  
What I’m trying to say is, just because a female is not interested in female interests, and/or shows an interest in more “masculine” things, doesn’t mean anything. A butch personality doesn’t mean gender dysphoria, or whatever they call it nowadays.
 
And now that I got the well thought-put response out of the way, let me reprise what I meant with my own words:  
For fuck’s sake, everything’s goddamn political nowadays, just because she’s a dyke doesn’t mean she wants to sew a fucking bratwurst to her crotch, and neither does Aero taking the piss with her.

Dinky is questioning their gender identity, and feeling it out. “Genderfluid” might be the best description right now.

Dinky’s a tomboy and has a girlfriend. I don’t think Dinky is FTM, but you never know in Aero Replies.

As far as I know, no. Aero’s a cross dresser, but that’s about it, and Dinky’s… normal, for lack of a better word.

Ok, I don’t follow Aero Replies all that well, so is it a typo or is there a reason he’s calling Dinky ‘brother’ while still using female pronouns?

I’d point out the obivous error of calling dinky a man but. everyone else already has.
