Well, if I could see a copy of that post, then that seals the deal, but since he deleted his old accounts, I don’t think there will be a way to prove it.

but he DID say it, though i can’t seem to find the post anymore. he even noted his faust blowjob pic as an example of his trolling in the very same post. he’s a talented artist, i’m not saying he isn’t, all i’m saying is he just used that talent to fuck with people in the fandom, not to invoke emotion or anything like that.

Unless he comes out and says that he was trolling the fandom, I don’t buy that. I’ve read a couple of his posts back when the pinkamena blog was still going, and he seemed like a pretty smart guy, let alone a really strange one. Even if he only made those pictures to troll, he was able to make a picture that made me feel more emotion than any other painting I’ve seen (the rainbow dash one with the smiley face).

His Luna tumblr was called Illunisghosts. If you go there, you’ll find an archived version of the only two posts that were made. It’s a real shame he quit; I was genuinely interested in what was going to happen next.

it was really to early to tell if it was good or not. It was crooked tree’s style, but it was nothing more than Luna standing in front of the camera with a sweatshirt on. The first post was her saying that she’s starting a diary, and the second post was something along the lines of, “it’s getting late, I wonder where tia is?” with her looking annoyed. I don’t think the posts are on here, and I think he deleted that blog along with Pinkamena, except he didn’t save that one at all.

There are a lot of artists I think are dicks and dislike greatly, but I still enjoy there art. Hell, I see it as spiting them in a since. I won’t let their dickish bullshit stand between me and good art.

With the quantity and quality of his work, it’s hard to believe they are all for trolling.

if what i remember is true, there was something he posted before on his blog telling everyone he was basically “quitting” the fandom because he was in fact trolling the community with most of his pics and he was just bored of it. honestly, dude was kind of a dick. used to love his art, but after that, couldn’t really enjoy any of it.

I really wanted to see where he was going with his Luna blog. Unfortunately he quit that as soon as he began

I’d be more likely to believe dko’s reasoning. We do seem to scare off a lot of good artists. This fandom can be a tad…bitchy.

I think it was because he got fed up with the hate he got for his pinkamena tumblr and his rule 34 pics, and he had terrible artist block

Anyway, anyone know who rainbow is? I see his/her stuff here a lot, but I never see a source.

That’s gotta be the lamest reason ever. Maybe it’s just me, but if someone told me I can’t watch a cartoon because he/she doesn’t like it, I tell this person to leave.

Some artists just disappeared without reason, like crookedtrees and moe.
