Been doing some heavy re-working on the mouth rigging for the past few weeks. Lots of experimentation going on here. Let me know if anything about the mouth in particular looks a bit off.
 
Also no I don’t plan on actually animating the song that comes after this line, at least not in the near future. Just in case anyone was curious.

Once I’m done making changes to the Pinkie model, I’ll be applying them to my other models including AJ. I can’t do anything with anypony else until I get that done. I’ll certainly get to a paired animation once I can though.

That one actually gave me more of an uncanny valley vibe compared to this one. I think it was probably because it was more detailed (it had fur, more texture, and it was interacting in a live action enviroment).
 
This on the other hand, I feel like it captures the style of the show pretty well, but in 3D. The last few bits at the end could use some improvements but overall, I like it a lot.

I didn’t get an uncanny valley feel from this video all too much either. The perspective on her ears look off during that last smile but otherwise, I honestly haven’t seen a 3D animation of Pinkie look this good before.

There’s still something weird about this model. Like it’s almost perfect, but something still feels off. I can’t pinpoint it, but it’s how i feel looking at it. Especially in that last part with the smile.

Good 3D animation is trial and error and adjustments, I’m assuming. Like I said before, considering how much trouble 2Snacks had with Maya, I’m sure it’s not something everyone can get their mind around.

Yeah that’s why I’m considering adjusting the ear shape slightly so that it can be more visible when the head tilts upwards, which is why they’re blocked out of view.
