@Frustration in Excelsis
It leaves me wondering just what kind of a growth spurt is involved when the adolescent dragons finally start becoming adults.
One thing that always fascinates me about MLP’s dragons is the size difference between adults and children. It must have some interesting effects on their parent-child dynamics when even teenage dragons are the size of their mothers and fathers’ fingers – or even just their phalanges.
Everyone must have to be assuredly careful about where they walk, if nothing else.
@Ranch
It is, which is why my method has evolved a little bit. The characters are still drawn in MSpaint, as are detailed background elements. When these components are very detailed, I create separate files for each component, which serve as layers. MSpaint doesn’t support layers or transparent backgrounds, but it does support transparent selections and if all else fails there’s still Gimp, which is what I use for simplistic shapes in the background, gradients and other features Paint doesn’t support.
I really would like to see the process you do to create these pictures. If not for your popularity, how many people would be tricked into thinking these are actual screenshots?!
Edited because: wrong name
Must have been a big lie, that or he told it to (or about) Ember.

Isn’t working without layers a real pain in the butt?
You’d be amazed how far an absurdly large canvas gets you.
I saw someone do the monalisa in mspaint so i’m not surprised. But at the same time still flabbergasted.
What if I told you I do most of it n MS paint and no, that isn’t a joke.
