I guess you’re right.
I said “like it’s a running joke” I did not say “it definitely is a running joke.” Besides,
Maud meeting Starlight was supposed to be funny due to how hilarious the circumstances was.
Starlight admitting she made a manifesto was flat out a communist joke.
And then in the finale, when Pinkie was talking to Starswirl, she casually brought up Starlight as one of the villains they defeated.
Starlight can never catch a break. Someone somewhere will mention her past, whether she likes it or not. Hence, like a running joke.
oh yeah, I completely forgot about Zecora one. but I don’t think other two are supposed to be a running joke. especially finale one.
…Maud, for one. Then when she mentioned she learned mass-printing spell to make copies of her “Manifesto”. Then we got one where Rarity looked at Starlight when Zecora said time travel could fix her hair–to which Starlight said “No”, Then in the finale–basically her argument goes like “I was villain once, listen to me will you!”
So there…I can’t believe you missed them.
Can you point it out? I don’t think that happend during season 7.
