| I’ve been hard at work implementing changes to how the face reacts the certain types of expressions based on Dilarus’s advice. This render doesn’t necessarily showcase they yet, as it’s not entirely ready. But I’ve had to rework how the lip corners are rigged in order to implement all the changes Dilarus suggested to help make sure the face bunches and squashes in the right places in order for the expression to look real and genuine. |

I’ve been working on her facial rig for what feels like months now. The thing is, the facial rig changes have only been applied to my Pinkie model. I’m not going to waste time applying the new changes (of which aren’t even complete or polished yet) to my other models until I am confident that it’s all done.
Sure, I like Pinkie, but I like Pinkie as much as any of the other Main 6 ponies. It’s just that I’m not going to use my other models right now that have outdated rigs, and would be a time waster to apply the current changes I’ve made to them as I’m still working on it on Pinkie.
That’s even better than the joke I made. It’s really fitting for her to be looking at the snow. (I’m gonna miss it when they get rid of that feature once holiday season is over.)
