Pro of using Blender (which I do) instead of Daz: You can do anything you want and make everything from scratch, without relying on things that are set up for you.
On the other hand…
Con of using Blender instead of Daz: To do do what you want, you usually HAVE to make everything from scratch, without taking advantage of things that are set up for you. XD

The ears are actually different from the ones of the original model. LadyLittleFox made them for the Peaches model, and are very well rigged, at least compared to the original model.
Also, Spoon’s patient look.
As an aside: I really like how expressive your ears are. They can move a lot without artifacts. Am I correct that the head model you are using is originally derived from the ones JuiceDane released? If so, how much original modification have you done?
I’m currently working with subdivision modeled head that originally started life as a retopo I did of the Juicedane heads, but I cannot for the life of me get the ears as flexible as I’d like without deformation artifacts.
