Ok so….finally getting back on track before we head into 2018 on my normal release schedule. What the hell has been going on over the last month to kind of throw everything and I mean everything out of wack…well 4 things. Simply put it has been my grinding work schedule which is also been having me pick up some days during the middle of the week which is my prime time times when I go back to retouch something I want to put out for the weekend, my class which had their final exams and last major assignment, and my weather job interview, a special charity thing I am keeping secret but you’ll see what in a sense it is for 2019 when I put out my 2017 pic for it Tuesday…oh and lots of legit awesome family parties and stuff so 5. :) So naturally it was unexpected but since Tuesday everything got freed up finally over the last month. My class finished (planning a new class in January), my work schedule and pace is more normal again, and charity piece finally got finished which I should have done back in September. :P But should be fine for the most part now but because of that this likely is the last 2017 comic I will have done in time cause next weekend will be on of my older anthros again to push out. yeah those I left back in February….muffin is in this…look sharp. Oh FYI this isn’t a shipping comic cause I don’t do that stuff..
 
 
So this comic yeah damn this comic when I left it back in August I knew it had a good bit of work to do but holy crap I didn’t expect I needed to spend 2 1/2 solid evenings to retouch a LOT of this comic without overkilling it. What I mean is the lineart was mostly set but I went back and touched up stuff with about 4 months more idea on how to do this style now to make this somewhat alright. I think it’s not too bad but it’s not the best considering when I left this comic sitting on my computer. So yeah IDK why I did that with this one and left it with so much work left I needed to do on it. It’s a really good comic and I totally re-worked the dialogue in this too from what it originally was but the same overall idea. :) It’s so much better now. I think sometimes what people over look or panic over when I am doing this newer style is 2 things. One they see the art and are still not used to it and think my humor is gone too with it….which isn’t the case. Honestly there’s just some poses and stuff in this style i can do better and look better than in the classic style I do. The classic style is much much better for filly art so you’ll see the classic style again on filly stuff for sure. Also I think the other thing people freaked out over too is the fact they see these comics but forget these are several months old from the time I stopped working on them to when I finally am releasing them….it’s just that much I have backlogged and again from before…crazy amount of stuff happened this month this shifted everything around and delayed it more. :| Sucks I know. :| But it’s ok cause I REALLY like this comic for the simple humor from it. I really don’t remember where this idea manifested from and just likely was one of those simple weird slice of like humor comics I just randomly thought up. :)
 
 
Anyway there ya go. So the next legit comic I put out will be that first weekend in 2018…huzzah. So with my timing more normal for the time being this should allow me to keep to my normal release schedule or stuff. Did find it funny it a odd way how people were freaking out over me not releasing stuff and thinking I lost motivation or something…..I mean you do see my polls right…I am working on stuff almost every night. :) Just my middle of my weekdays got screwed over. :D So onward to the next stuff to close out the year…I think I will push out a couple things this week so this ought to be fun. :iconderpy-hooves:
