yeah true, I know some writers will ship tease things to stir up the fandom like one of the voice actors did when she said “celestia loves discord” and then everyone got all hype and then found out she was just joking because she already said it was to ruffle some feathers in the fandom since she does not ship anything. I know some writers tend to imply fluttercord because we know how the male mind works when interacting with a female the writers kind of make it a little to obvious and I can tell Discord is the type of character that has fears of rejection because we see that with his friendship with fluttershy and how he tried to play mr cool guy when in all my life I have seen that type of attitude in people but we know those people are the kind to play it cool to not get hurt or have not emotionally matured to know what love really is sometimes the don’t even know it themselves and the fact that Spike knows what a crush looks like even a small one ad he pointed that out to Discord and the way he kind of sweat when he told him that. It isn’t that hard to tell at all. I get they do not want to put main character relationship or atleast can not depending on the show but we can tell especially since the writers had the audacity to put in Spikes line otherwise they would not have done it at all plus the plot line seems rather ‘unfinished” I know they won’t do it but the fact that Spike even listed that. That kind of spells it out right there

It would make sense. At this point in the story, it was mostly implied that Discord share feelings for her but deny it due to his past nature and because of fear of being rejected. However we literally have no idea how Fluttershy see their relationship. We know she like him the way he is in Discordant Harmony, she was heartbroken in Twilight Kingdom and she briefly blushed in S6 finale. It’s still doesn’t really translate as romantic interest. With Discord it is much easier to figure it out and Spike even spelled it out for the audience.

I don’t know what they are saying I know the first one “I like you” because someone translated it but this one idk. BUT I could probably imagine she would be saying “as a friend” lol or somethng

So with that being said, I can only assume she’s saying something like she only likes him as a friend which causes his heart to break.
 
I could be completely wrong though so it might be best to wait for someone to translate this.

And this is why it is important for Discord to only love himself. Also can someone translate?
