The point of signatures like watermarks is in order to make sure that no one can steal the picture and claim it as their own. With that in mind, BESIDE the picture like what you’re implying is defeating the purpose because someone can crop it out and steal the picture. Watermarks/signatures are SUPPOSED to be on the picture somewhere, or somewhere that cannot be easily cropped out. It is there to save artist’s work, he did it correctly, don’t bash an artist for using a watermark or signature how it is supposed to be used. ESPECIALLY don’t insist on an artist to change their signature to DEFEAT the purpose of it and make it easier for someone to steal.
