That doesn’t really change the fact that they’re plaguing youtube now, and are directed towards young kids.
But they were videos and flash games like the elsagate ones on YouTube itself before it went famous (happy tree freinds and Saddam’s execution) and on pre-youtube sites such as Newgrounds and they very rarely (if ever) went on the news as they were often underground and age restricted on the sites
