Ah, point taken, then.
And I don’t think being bold is a hindrance in and of itself. But I do feel the lack of subtlety could be a problem if she makes a mistake and draws attention to the wrong thing and/or at the wrong time.
I meant subtle in terms of her social interactions. She behaves Great and Powerful all the time and never does anything half way.
At least that’s what her Equestrian counterpart is like, who tends to get on everypony’s nerves because of her ego. And she still doesn’t quite get along with mane6, IIRC, which I find hilarious.
Also, I don’t think being bold is that much of a hindrance to a magic performer. If anything it allows you to be your own distraction. As long as you manage to draw attention away from the hand that does the magic it makes up for your lack of finesse.
That might be a problem for her as a stage magician, since concealment and misdirection are so important in that line of work.
Not necessarily relevant to this particular moment, just a general observation.

Exactly!
What do you mean evil? Evil as in doing something bad? I’m sure school knows about superpowers of the main characters, so Trixie knowing that Fluttershy speaks with animals, thought that maybe Fluttershy cheated by telling test answers to birds and then they would retell the answers to Fluttershy on the day of test… See, that doesn’t make any sense. How can a bird retell the test answers? Trixie is being silly? Yes, probably. Evil? Nah. Just silly.
This whole birds knowing test answers doesn’t make sense right? But Trixie believes so, in the end she even comes to those birds and asks them to teach her Trigonometry, but Trixie doesn’t know bird language, so why did she do that? In my opinion she would have come to Fluttershy for some advice and ask appology for the accusation, but it didn’t happen, maybe because of her pride? But then again, would she even have pride? Because she went to those birds and tried talking to them, if people saw her, that would have been a huge blow to her pride. No, I think that’s not the case, I think Trixie is being silly, no worse… Crazy. But you won’t agree with me do you?
Well, I agree with you, that’s right. I disagree with myself. Because, the writers, those who write about Trixie, those who wrote the scenario, they made Trixie like that. Trixie is not crazy, not silly, she’s great and powerful. It’s the writers that make her as you say “evil”. They should have made a better job, maybe made Trixie appology to Fluttershy, maybe make friends with her, maybe hang out with people more, rather than mathematical birds…
Anyways, if you read all that, thanks. Trixie is the best, though, I can’t deny it. No matter how “evil” she is, no matter how “silly” they portray her, she is the greatest and powerfullest :D
that thought Skystar was mentioning about the prophecy a being with amonstrous
horn an he was thinking about Twilight but the problem is the Princess of Friendship
doesn’t have a monstrous horn, Storm King does.
Holy shit that tripple D tho
in the timeline as “a little birdie told me”.
In “good vibes” Trixie uses real magic (I guess) but we do not see how and when she got this ability.
I think in the next special we will see her getting more friendly and more powerful

If that so, this time it sense is completely deceived her.
Well, being subtle is not Trixie’s strong suit.
On an unrelated note, I like think that Trixie is able to sense dishonesty to some extent since she works with stage trickery.
Even if there’s a better way, no way Trixie would think of it.
She’s too melodramatic.

I grant your point, but surely there was a better way to go about it than yelling and pointing as though this were Phoenix Wright rather than Equestria Girls? Everyone else in the room is trying to take this test too, after all. Plus the accusation wound up reflecting poorly on her when she was proven wrong, something that could probably have been avoided were she not so bombastic about it.

Some socially awkward people like Fluttershy are pretty good at convincing teachers of their innocence because they look like “they would never do that”. Having them prove they have actual skills is often the only way to expose their deception. If you’re too gentle with them they’ll find a way to avoid punishment (“Birds don’t know anything about math!”).
Trixie looks like someone who would and could cheat (because she’s an illusionist), but didn’t. Seeing a goody two-shoes possibly getting away with cheating can mess up your own sense of justice. In a way, it’s a good thing that she confronted Fluttershy because otherwise she might have come to a conclusion that there is no point in honest hard work if you can cut corners and succeed anyway.
The point is - mind your own business and don’t be jealous jerk.
Trixie thought she was calling out a cheater.
The point is that she would call out a cheater?
@Background Pony #7B42
FLUTTERSHY IS A CHEATER? She solved an equation on desk without any help. It was a way to show Trixie that she’s NOT a cheater. How can anybody not understand that clear message?!
calling out a cheater, being really smug about it and clearly only really caring because she’s bad at math and was despairing over the quiz? Yeah, I’d call that being petty.
Also, that’s quite an exaggeration.

Calling out a cheater is petty?
Sorry. Just notifying.
Most likely.
