What the Fluff?
Pony cereal is something I’ve waited for since the beginning. I mean there’s all this other merchandise, including some food (cakes, cookies, candies, other snacks, drinks, etc.) So where was the obvious cereal tie-in? It’s gone MIA until now. Except it’s just a generic Captain Crunch with two specific crunchberry colors.
 
Which is also odd, because Great Value is a Wal-Mart brand, and given the shelf design and price sticker this is obviously a Wal-Mart, but I’m not used to them licensing any IPs for their own brands.

Like, I still like the show and will now rewatch it knowing it’s “ended” for me, and with my little headcanon of Chrysalis, but I don’t quite feel the “flame” burning the same way.

A little late for that. They should have done it when the show was great, when the fandom was bigger and more kind and accepting. (Not that there aren’t still people like that in the fandom but it seems there aren’t as many now) Now the show’s declining in quality, Season 7 was meh and the Season 8 synopsises don’t sound that interesting, except the Raridash one and maybe the Celestia one.
 
And even so… $30 is way too much for a box of cereal. Jumbo boxes of regular cereal cost less.
