I’d love to see this idea actually get used in an issue of the IDW comic.
Just imagine, some villain is about to invade Equestria. But the Mane Six are otherwise occupied, so we see the Royal Guard, Equestrian espionage (Lyra and Bon Bon?), and their ‘deep cover agent’ Grubber save the day instead.
Undercover-agent for Equestrian intelligence on the next potential villain’s army of minions?
True but that still doesn’t change the fact that his future employment opportunities seem kinda limited. What jobs exist for guys whose entire work history is ‘villainous flunky’?
Well, if there is one thing the ponies of Equestria are usually good at, it is forgiving baddies at the drop of a hat, especially if they are actually remorseful of their actions, or were under bad leadership.
I love how it looks like there’s something Grubber wants to say, but doesn’t dare to.
And I really do wonder what the poor guy is doing with himself these days now that he’s lost his old job. I doubt that ‘ex-minion of evil, former comic relief, aided incompetently in the brutal sacking of several major nations with former employer’ will look good on a resume.
