Oh hey, I can finally post a screencap of that Starlight/Sunburst S8 episode without sourcing the leaks.
Someone else here, anonymous I believe, said that. Firelight’s voice does vaguely resemble Ord’s voice from Dragon Tales.

I’m speculating Kelly Sheridan and Ty Olsson for the parents. If not Kelly, then some other Vancouver voice actress we haven’t seen on the show yet.

You said “its probably a mistake on the credi,” (forgetting “it’s”), but we don’t have this episode’s official credits yet. They weren’t in what was leaked.
Yeah, its kind of hard to tell if its correct or not, usually i can always tell whose voice is who’s. Either its probably a mistake on the credit or their voices are more versatile than i thought. I thought Firelight sounded like Double Diamond. Voices aside, dont you think that theres a little bit of similarity between Starlight and Sunburst’s mom?
There are episodes where Ian’s voice actor appears in the credits without Sunburst appearing in an episode. I believe he voiced a customer from the recent Fake It Till You Make It episode.
Kelly’s name also pops up every once in a while without an appearance from Starlight.
I kind of doubt that, they didn’t sound all that similar but who knows maybe Ian and Kelly’s voices are more versatile than we think. Kelly’s maight be true, but I dont remember Ian voicing Firelight
Yeah. It reminded me of Starlight’s voice from season 5 only deeper. Its why some fans think season 5 Starlight is 40 year old woman while reformed Starlight is teenager.

I think Sunburst’s VA Ian Hanlin voiced Starlight’s dad while Starlight’s VA Kelly Sheridan voiced Sunburst’s mom.
Now you’re just throwing out random names. John de Lancie is definitely not in this episode. He’s only paid to voice Discord. Britt McKillip has a chance of being one of the townsponies, maybe. But likewise, she’s hired to do Princess Cadance’s voice, and rarely does any additional voices unless she’s already in the booth for Cadance, and they need to cast additional roles.
You again? Claiming you have information about the writers and voice actors in unreleased episodes when the leaked versions of those episodes had no credits (except for Surf and/or Turf and Horse Play)!
