Yeah comic’s a nice effort but I can’t say I disagree…
 
  1. What was the point of the mission? Feeding? Information gathering? They didn’t do any of those?  
  2. What was the point of the murder? If they wanted to remain undiscovered (let’s assume this was an info gathering quest) leaving bbehind a big ass murder scene is the best way to get noticed, where a husband going missing would’ve drawn far less attention.  
  3. Why is this guy so ridiculously effective at infiltration when he never even heard of his target in his life before they killed him?  
  4. Speaking of which where are the scenes of him feeding, making others mind puppets and the other things changelings do to survive?  
  5. Since changelings do this for a living why is he completely out of it? At least he’d have received some basic propaganda and training you’d think.  
  6. Why did guy #2 intrude? I’m guessing they assigned guy #1 there for a reason. Did they take the job away from him, is he disgraced now, did someone check and say to guy #2 “I think that guy went rogue, finish the job, just don’t let him get you first”, cuz I’m not seeing that scene! :p
     
    You might argue that they wanted to keep the fic as short and simple and possible, except those extra scenes aren’t just unneccessary length, it’s the plot holes that make them neccessary. You can leave scenes out if imagination can easily fill them but not if they raise questions the reader has to come up with inventive excuses for.

why would t hey murder ponies? their foodsource? not to mention WHY THE MOTHA FUCK WOULD THEY MURDER THE FAMILY? the family dying would just create a giant exclamation point on theri heads man.
 
it really negatively impacts the potential drama of it all in the process. too busy understanding the illogical motivations to be affected by what occurs.
