Coco Pommel sounds like Coco Channel (hence the change, bleh), but yeah wouldn’t it make sense to alternate between Coco and Miss Pommel depending on the setting (personal vs business)?

Actually as I wrote in another thread of this at DA the writers just messed it up, Coco was always the one in charge of the Manehattan boutique while Sassy was in charge of Canterlot’s, they inverted it just so the episode would make more sense because if Fluttershy was in Canterlot instead Rarity could have stopped by there whenever.
That kind of thing better not go too deep into.
I presume Coco had her own issues to deal with.
Coco and Sassy Saddles and so many others.

No, Fluttershy was overseeing the Manehattan boutique. You could argue Coco was busy at the time, since she’s also a Bridleway costume designer.
Wasn’t fluttershy attending the one in Canterlot? it is the one where Sassy works, Coco works at the Manehattan one, I didn’t even pay attention on this detail at the past episode I just assumed at very least this little of consistency with the story the writers were capable of keeping up with but apparently they don’t even know what happened in the past if Fluttershy went working on Manehattan’s shop instead.
