Tempest is basically Evil Scootaloo. Change my mind. :P
 
And it’s not just that they’re both disabled and use their disabled appendage(s) in an unusual way to compensate. Both of them try to act tough to cover their insecurities, they tend to show off their physical skills a lot, they both have talents that revolve in some way around telling people what to do (Tempest as a military commander, Scootaloo as essentially a life coach), and they’ve both latched onto someone they look up to and are completely loyal to (even though Tempest pretends to care only about herself. her devotion to the Storm King is pretty obvious; it’s an even better parallel if you compare Tempest and the Storm King to Scoots and Lightning Dust in “The Washouts”). And they both have someone who should have supported them but didn’t (Tempest’s friends ditching her, Scootaloo’s parents not giving a rat’s ass or, if you count the stuff from the books, even being around most of the time).
 
Seriously, they could pretty much do the “I know who you are, you’re me” scene from Guardians of the Galaxy 2.

Huh, I guess if it weren’t for the whole “attempted to throw her into enslavement” bit, Scootaloo really would look up to Tempest. They’re both disabled, but Tempest turned her disability into an advantage.
