I think I would have preferred AJ learning to loosen up, personally. She’s only overbearing because she cares, and it’s hard to fault her for that, but the fact that her family is so used to it clearly shows that this sort of thing is regular behavior for her. She really is uptight sometimes.

Not good story telling, there’s no point to it. Either could’ve been about RD’s impatience or Bias or could’ve just been AJ as the main character learning to loosen up. In the end it’s a forced situation that comes off with no real lesson learned except, don’t follow AJ’s list of directions, again.
