I thought that too for a long time. But Adventure Time and many others actually stem from The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack. That’s the true origin point for the 2nd Golden age of cartoons. Then yes, we got Adventure Time, Regular Show, and the rest. We live in the best time.
