What do you mean “the sake of complaining more”? If the writers have made bad mistakes, that’s just a fact, and neither is it my fault.
 
Also, the only reason Flim and Flam would choose opening a school of friendship as their first money-making choice would be if there were literally no other options. They’re con artists, and opening a school of friendship would be very far from their first choice.

The fact of the matter is they would pull this if it would net them enough money, which it did. You’re simply ignoring the final details for the sake of complaining more.

Well, they’re all for the conclusion of making money, so I didn’t need to add it to any of them. Look, opening a school of friendship is not the way Flim and Flam would pick to make money. The writers are getting desperate, so they’re just shoving any old character into any old episode plot to fill the space. I know a desperate filler episode when I see one, believe me.

Exactly! That’s what Flim and Flam are supposed to do! Exploit others to buy fraudulent products and create elaborate scams to make money! They don’t open schools of friendship! That’s just not the way Flim and Flam do things. I mean, just look at this list:

That’s the thing though, Flim and Flam are scammers, if they have an opportunity to make easy money by exploiting others, they’ll do it. And now they own a casino, they have more resources to utilize for bigger scams.

I’m not blaming the writers for doing something I don’t like, I’m blaming the writers for making characters out-of-character. There are plenty of things in MLP I don’t like, like Rarity’s behaviour in Sonic Rainboom or Spice Up Your Life, or Pinkie in Rock Solid Friendship, but they weren’t out of character, they were just doing things I didn’t like. Out-of-character means they don’t behave like themselves, and do things that character would never do.
 
For example, the changelings who replaced the Mane 6 in the Season 6 finale. They said and did things that the Mane 6 would never do, which is why Starlight realized they were changelings. It’s the same with out-of-character characters. They say and do things that that character would never do, which is a script-writing error, not something the character would do.

Either way, it doesn’t automatically absolve them of their actions, especially when they show no actual remorse for them. Nor is it fair to suddenly blame the writers if they do something you dislike, that’s just a cop-out.

I never said they weren’t bad, I’m just saying they aren’t evil or cruel, and many fans act like they’re a whole lot worse than they actually are, just because they don’t like them, which is just being biased. They’re not evil, they’re just bad.
