With Equestria militarized, everycreature now incorporated into the military and the new phrase is “Power is Strength” this feels like a combination of Stalinist Russia(Authoritarian) The Roman Empire(Massive Slave Economy, but its equal oppression, meaning anycreature can be a slave) and The Alexandrian Empire(Diversity in the military)
Even if not, she could probably still look like one if she so chose.

Hey, at Least all races are united under a single banner, and from what I’ve heard, the Dragonlsnds are now the industrial factory captail of the Empire(thousand of teen dragons Work as slaves or as kids are shipped off to “The Storm Kingdom Cadet Academy”, Griffonstone now has great structure again, Yaks are amazing ground troops, oh and The Storm King’s old castle, is now Tempest’s Fortress(think Darth Vader’s Fort in Rogue One)

No, she’s under his complete mental control, notice the blue crystal replacing her horn, it keeps her completely loyal to the king, the same for the students because of those blue crystals on there foreheads. No free will, no rebellion
