I was beginning to worry that comic was a one-off joke that wouldn’t lead anywhere.
He’s a womanizer, no murdering at all.
On one. And he didn’t always look like he was about to kill somepony.
It’s not like he wasn’t repetitively hitting on a mare in the canon and full of himself, and he had a few moments in this series.

Holy crap, you’re right.
Most other characters resemble their show selves at least somewhat. Not so Zephyr. He’s like an OC, except the human-named OCs get much better treatment.
This series was never show accurate, and it’s not trying to be.
The comic cares so little about getting him right, he doesn’t even have his wings anymore.
“Officer Connor? Cheerilee here. Some pervert is loitering by my car.”
Also where is his wings?
Cheerilee seems to have the right idea when interacting with Zephyr.
