I’m a big Spike fan and I wasn’t looking forward to this. That said, I applaud the writers for pulling off a major character change and make it work as well as they did here.
Spike fans have finally gotten something that they’ve been hoping for. Spike’s change doesn’t affect anyone’s Twilight waifu self-insert fantasies, so no, there won’t be much drama.
Oh, we’re already going through the drama. Popcorn?
