Spike kinda looked like chibi kobold.
Again, my statement that I was arguing was “You only want spike to grow wings because you miss Spyro and want a proxy replacement.”
Folks argued “nononononono that’s not why, we want it to fit out headcanon”.
What was the headcanon? They never said.
But images like the above certainly started popping up.
It still sounds unjustified though. Both are purple dragons. That’s all they have in common.
On the other hand, almost every single dragon in popular media has wings.
