First of all, I did this post BEFORE the Starlight Glimmer thread. Second, I can’t edit it anymore. Third, as I said in the other thread, it’s a typo, should mean 8-bit’s art. Because the artist name is 8-bitbrony.

Unless it’s specifically trying to emulate the limitations of an 8-bit computer or video game system, it shouldn’t be called 8-bit.
Technically, it can be 8-bit. It just needs to have multiple bytes to represent one color. :P
Because this is 8-bit:
