I don’t feel as though the quote’s meant literally. “Be Still” is more of a way to say “You do not need to control this situation” than “Shh, don’t move a muscle; there’s a bee on you.” Keep in mind that Twilight’s attempt of being literally still was an attempt to control and prevent the “dreaded future” from happening but there was no dreaded future, she was fooled by herself in more ways than one even when her future self tried to warn her earlier self. With that in mind, not controlling the situation so darn fiercely would have helped and put her at more ease. It’s no secret that Twilight made massive lists and tried to plan everything in her life at least to a point; that’s her trying to control it all from mere days of planning when she didn’t see all aspects even though she’s well-read. No one person can know absolutely everything nor is it necessary (Why would you want to know about some obscure recipe from the mid 1800s that serves you no good purpose?) though I’m not saying to slack off where you mustn’t.

This is kinda funny. Thing is, it didn’t work in the episode.

Only reason I’ve shared my woes of spinal inflammation and drug withdraw is because I was hoping someone there knew something about the American healthcare system that I didn’t. At no point in my life will I ever cry out needlessly.
 
I’ve tried praying, and talking to god. Mostly I just end up talking to myself, but it’s worth a shot. I don’t believe that god couldn’t exists, but I strongly encourage people to remain skeptical because the truth is going to shine through regardless.
 
As for the beast that’s going to kill you all? I’m talking about the universe. It’s a living, turbulent thing, and there is no way to understand it from the inside.

I accept there’s things we don’t understand, I try my best to help others, and a toxic environment would be counterproductive.

I already know pain to be a survival mechanism that works outside of logic, outside of understanding.
 
I would not trade my life with anyone else in the world, if I had to give up one piece of what made me who I am. I think a lot of people feel the same way, that there experience is so unique, and irreplaceable.
 
To many people on this earth, god is a real, living entity, but my reality exists a beast beyond all understanding. The beast is all knowing, terribly violent, and quirky, it’s going to kill everyone here just to watch them die, and it has already slain god.

very true, and there is no point to engage in a argument with these weak souls if you encounter them in the comment section. They are simply filled with hate and envy for the peace they cannot have.

Because my friend, they are atheists whom think that it is funny to downvote and leave comments that make a mockery out of someone’s belifes. I don’t care really what they believe in, but to carry out, as on many of these images, mockery of the artists views based on religion, is nothing short of discrimination.

If I’m not mistaken, this was a quote from Moses to the children of Israel, when they’d reached the Red Sea, and saw the Egyptian armies approaching. He was telling them, “Alright, calm down, everyone, and trust that God will fight for you.” And, He did.
 
Shortly afterward, He put a pillar of fire between the children of Israel and the armies, then parted the Red Sea, giving the children of Israel a way of escape. Then, when most of the Israelites had made the crossing, He removed the pillar of fire, allowing the Egyptian army to follow after them. Then, when the children of Israel had all crossed through the Red Sea on dry ground, God released the waters, drowning the Egyptian army.

 

Well, I think that the instinctive struggling that tickling causes might be an exception.
