Wow, you are just a hater. There is no point trying to get through to people like you because you just suck the fun out of everything. Here’s a hint though, if someone has any kind of flaw then they aren’t a Stu, and I clearly listed some flaws Flash has. Hope you enjoy taking the fun out of everything.

It’s funny because the stuff you’re saying here just makes Flash seem like a gary stu, which is a compliment because the traits he does have are bland as shit and he has no flaws. Not being able to cook isn’t a character flaw. Your argument for his ego is that he named HIS band after himself. When it comes to Sunset of course he was close enough to teach her guitar during her bully phase he was her BOYFRIEND. Plus being a teenage boy of course he doesn’t care, he already has a reputation dating Sunset so it’s not like breaking up with her would do him any harm. He danced with Twilight? Big woop. Everyone had befriended the mane six at that point!  
Most importantly we’re talking about PONY FLASH here! We don’t know anything about the equestrian school system (except maybe from the comics and the ‘friendship school’ episodes which adults and teens attended) so as far as we know pony Flash never grew up as a human in high school his upbringing is different. We dont know if he dated Sunset. As far as we know he’s an adult stallion in the royal guard not a teen musician.

I am so glad you asked. Read it and wrap below:  
Flash has a sense of justice as he went to clear Twilight’s name when Sunset framed her. And considering that he used to be Sunset’s boyfriend, that means he memorized and knows exactly how she operates.  
He presumably taught Sunset how to play guitar despite no one else getting close to her during her bully phase.  
He also dumped Sunset despite everyone in the school being afraid of her so he clearly wasn’t afraid of a bully or at the very least knows how to spot a bad influence. He also tried to at least start over with her later as friends showing that he doesn’t hold grudges.  
He’s a gentleman, a bit of a music nerd and a clutz, and he didn’t seem to care about peer pressure considering the way he danced with Twilight.  
He has a few character flaws like him not being able to cook (if Friendship Games is any indication), and having a bit of an ego when it comes to his music (Banner Day is a good example of that) to the point of naming the band after himself (Flash Drive)… not unlike Rainbow Dash.  
He’s apparently good friends with Sandlewood, Micro Chips, Lyra, and Bonbon, or at least on good enough terms to be partnered up with them and is close enough with Derpy for her to comfort him twice.  
Was considered smart/talented/athletic enough to be picked for the Friendship Games.  
And even when completely depressed he still goes out of his way to help others.  
So in conclusion, anyone who says Flash has no personality or no interesting character traits are either lying to themselves because they are haters or just are not paying close enough attention. Flash actually has more fleshed out and canon personality than most of the background characters the fandom loves so much, because most of the character traits for most background characters are just made up by the fandom.

Flash has literally no canon personality besides being in a few scenes, this is the artist’s interpretation. Check out her deviantart she has a few statuses explaining it.
