I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, Cthulhu and his associated pantheon were badly maligned by Lovecraft. They are all Good Eggs and gorgeous squid-things with infinite tentacles and more dimensions than I have teeth. I just want to hug an eldritch entity. I want to watch their great multidimensional coils writhe in beautiful circuits that are as intricate as they are indescribable. I just want an Ancient One to hold my hand, dang it!
