Yo, same. I haven’t seen the recent specials either, so I was worried that I got spoiled. That’s how much I missed The Dazzlings.

I would like to see the Dazzling make a return, but in a way that ultimately leaves everything more or less the way it is now.
 
I did try doing a story ages ago, but it’s been gathering dust for a long time.
 
Plan was, Dazzlings go to Crystal Prep, making an alliance with the Shadowbolts. Said girls quickly admit they know exactly who/what the Dazzlings are, but want to help them get revenge, after the events of Friendship Games. (One bit was to see Adagio contemplating replacing Aria and Sonata with Sugarcoat and Soursweet if things didn’t pan out again).
 
The story was to follow the Dazzlings regaining their singing abilities through hard work, but ultimately being beaten by the Rainbooms again. Not fully worked out the end. First 2 pages of that comic are on here, tagged
