@PonyPon
Pretty much. I’m not a fan of shipping involving the mane 6, let alone between the mane 6, but I honestly would have minded all the shipping fuel if the special itself had an interesting story.
@Minus
While it’s true only a few individuals outright hated the special, there were still many viewers who simply thought it was “okay” (myself included). Compared to “Forgotten Friendship”, this special had a weaker story overall. In some regards, it felt rather similar to “Mirror Magic”. It could have been so much more, but I suppose we can’t expect Confalone to hit a homerun every time he’s at the plate.

People have been shipping in this fandom since day one, this special just provided a ton of fuel for a certain ship. You either join in on the debates or ignore them. Making a picture like this, you decided to not ignore them. So welcome to the drama. You may leave at any time by hiding tags.
Overall though, good special. Weak villain with a defeat as spectacular as breaking a pencil in two.
I thought most everyone enjoyed it. It seems pretty unanimous that the villain used was one of the least likable ones so far, and her defeat was kinda, lame. Ending aside though, it was great! I’ve not heard anyone not like it so far. But I can imagine the shipping rubbed people the wrong way. It was very full on, and was not a pairing that I would ever imagine being done. Perhaps people are just still a bit in shock? Give people time to simmer down, and they will go back to just talking about how this was a fun sepcial with a bad villain. Treat it like drama and it’ll become drama.
It’s canon, it happened, but it’s still a big pill to swallow. Just give it time.
For amusement, or like other commenters who want to feel like they have “won” against their opponents. Even then, that is just ridiculous enough to provoke laughter.
war over this episode.
Correction: wouldn’t have minded

Yep.
@Zaknel
Indeed, overexcited fans are quite amusing.
Besides, again, my favourite part is that more of Equestria Girls’ world is being explored. And EqG Flam looks cute and handsome, as usual.

your current filter.I don’t get why they wish to force their opinions on others.
Me too, but watching the shippers react and hint their favourite ship would be fun to watch!
