Starlight is like a city pony and trixie is a country pony that’s like to travel.

Lmao I just realized unlike Trixie, Starlight barely knows the world much aside from her home which makes an interesting parallel. She may know magic but it can’t do well against the forces of nature.
 
This just makes the episode even more interesting nonetheless.

i’m sure equestria has travel agents. either that or she could just do it by mail.

Starlight as much as I like/love you, you should reserve the Hotel room while Trixie get something to eat.

Wait, didn’t they mention Calling in other episodes years ago… the first time was in the Episode where AJ was being overprotective of Apple Bloom, and There was that time Trixie Answered Discords Banana just a few episodes ago. I want to say there was at least a third example were they said Phone specifically, but I’m not an Encyclopedia.

While Trixie was waiting in line buying pancake, Starlight could have gone to the motel to book a room!
 
Looking back it may make some sense. She’s come from a well off family, never had to share a room, never had to pay rent, never had to pay tuition.
 
Now I get why she’s so impulsive, dislikes rules and rarely think things through. She’s been spoiled all her life!
 
No wonder she has zero idea about managing cash and travelling on a budget.
